Certification Process
The BEFA Program is comprised of three sequential stages: Eligibility, Demonstration of Competency, and Interview. Upon successful completion of all three stages, applicants are awarded BEFA Certification. Each stage has specific requirements and a defined process, and applicants must fully complete one stage before progressing to the next.
A non-refundable application fee is required at the start of each stage, and applicants are responsible for ensuring that all criteria are met before advancing. This structured approach ensures that all applicants demonstrate the necessary skills, knowledge, and professional competencies required for licensure in Canada.
